ASTON, PA - The Colonial States Athletic Conference basketball sportsmanship awards were recently announced, with senior Dani Norton and sophomore Jeremy Pearson each garnering recognition from the league.

Norton (Elizabethtown, PA), a fourth-year guard for the women's team, and Pearson (Detroit, MI), a second-year point guard for the men's squad, were amongst a select group of recipients from across the conference that received the sportsmanship award, marking a first for both players.

Chosen by the league’s coaches, the award is given to student-athletes that demonstrate positive sportsmanship characteristics throughout the season, which includes a commitment to civility, respect, honesty, dignity, courtesy, fairness, and integrity.
