Volleyball Team Slides By Stevenson

LANGHORNE, PA - The men's volleyball team generated their sixth consecutive win Thursday night, blowing past visiting Stevenson University 3-0.

The Crimson Eagles controlled play from the opening volley, utilizing a .400 collective hitting percentage for the night to dish the Mustangs their second straight loss after opening the season up 7-0.

PBU bested the visitors by scores of 30-17, 30-21, 30-17. The Crimson Eagles held advantages in nearly every statistical category, including total kills (50-24), digs (55-28), service aces (8-3), and attack percentage (.400 to .061).

Leo Dueck paced the host squad with 17 kills and 12 digs and Justin Brubaker added 13 and seven, respectively. Jeff Stauffer added a game high mark of 13 digs, and Noah Prickett chipped in with eight spikes and 11 stops on the defensive end.

The Crimson Eagles improve to 8-1 on the year while Stevenson falls to 7-2.

With this weekend's matches canceled due to an anticipated snow storm, the squad will return to action next Thursday for another date with the Mustangs - this time on the road - at 7:00 pm.
