- Free throw shooting proved to be the difference-maker Monday night during PBU's 66-54 loss to Neumann University.

With both squads finishing the game with identical numbers from the field (20-53), the Knights managed to squeeze out the win based on a decisive advantage at the charity stripe. Neumann finished the game 23 of 26 from the line while the Crimson Eagles ended the night just 12 of 24.

Three players scored in double figures for the host squad while the Crimson Eagles were led by Willie Miller's 15 points in 29 minutes. Nate Schrader added 13 points and nine rebounds, and Brett Zamroz chipped in with 10 points and four steals.

The Crimson Eagles slip to 2-10 on the year following Monday's loss while Neumann improves to 8-6 overall on the year.

PBU will return to action on the road this Thursday when the group goes up against Rosemont College at 7:00 pm.
