Thirteen run inning sparks Neumann

ASTON, PA
- A thirteen run second inning helped push Neumann College past the Crimson Eagles Tuesday afternoon as the Knights completed a three game sweep over PBU for the season with the win.

Neumann posted a .420 batting average for the game while collecting 21 hits in their seventh conference win of the year.

The Crimson Eagles knocked around eight hits for thecontest but couldn't overcome 11 strikeouts and seven runners left on base. The team slips to 0-22 with the loss.

Ryan Eshleman, Rudy Sheptock, and Ricky Ragone each posted two hits for PBU.

The baseball squad will shift focus to NCCAA East Regional play beginning on Thursday when the team heads to Lancaster Bible College to take on the top seeded Chargers in opening round action. Thursday's contest will begin at 9:00 pm with the winniner advancing to the East Region Title game later in the afternoon at 3:00 pm.
