ASTON, PA - Three different PBU fall athletic teams were picked as CSAC Sportsmanship Award recipients, a list that includes the Crimson Eagle men's soccer, women's soccer, and women's cross country programs.
The award is handed out to the team within each sport that most embodies and demonstrates the spirit of sportsmanship. The results are based on the votes of the student-athletes across the conference in each of the respective sports.
"I am proud of our student-athletes for the level of sportsmanship they display," commented Director of Athletics Drew Watson. "I know the coaches make it a point to stress this to the teams and it's always nice to be recognized for it."
Marking the Crimson Eagles' second year in the Colonial States Athletic Conference, the awards are the first CSAC Sportsmanship award for each program and gives PBU five team sportsmanship awards within the conference to-date.
The triple honor means that PBU picked up exactly half of the sportsmanship awards that the Crimson Eagles' were eligible for, as the athletic program competed in six sports during the fall season.
